The National CSIRT-CY proudly announces that it has officially obtained the TI Certified status from the internationally recognized Trusted Introducer, confirming its high level of operational maturity, governance, and reliability.
The certification was formally presented during the Regional Symposium organized by Trusted Introducer in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on February 4–6, 2026.
Trusted Introducer (TI) is a European accreditation and trust-building service for Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs), established to strengthen cooperation and the exchange of reliable information between CSIRTs across Europe and internationally.
The TI Certified status upgrades the previously held TI Accredited status of the Cyprus National CSIRT, placing it among an elite group of teams worldwide that meet the highest standards in:
- operational capability
- incident management
- organizational maturity
- international cooperation
Fewer than approximately 50 teams worldwide (around 9% of the approximately 600 listed in the Trusted Introducer directory) currently hold TI Certified status.
This recognition:
- enhances international credibility
- strengthens cooperation with trusted partners
- further reinforces Cyprus’ ability to protect critical infrastructure, organizations, and citizens from evolving cyber threats
This milestone reflects the professionalism, commitment, and continuous improvement efforts of the National CSIRT-CY team.
We warmly thank our partners and the wider community for their continued trust and support.
